Hello!
Thanks for stopping
by! Please, get comfortable and enjoy a
minute getting to know me a little better!
I am the 4th of
8 children; I grew up homeschooling in the beautiful state of Colorado,
enjoying the sunshine and fresh air of country living. I was raised with country values which I
thought were the norm until I went out in the world! I still get shocked by things sometimes ;)
I love working with my
hands and making things, especially by repurposing materials that would usually
go unnoticed, or get thrown away.
I also enjoy snapping
pictures of the things around me I find to be interesting, although I don’t do
that nearly as often as I used to… the troubles of growing up and getting busy.
I also really like to
study the human body and what makes it work. That is so fascinating! I really enjoy studying what herbs, foods,
and essential oils can do to keep me and my family healthy!
A really cool experience I
had that has had a big impact on who I am and where I am going was a 10 week
trip to Israel in the fall of 2013. I
went with a group called HaYovel; we went and picked grapes all over Judea and Samaria,
more commonly known as the “West Bank”.
It is such a beautiful peaceful land, and I never once felt unsafe
there! I am planning to go back again
this year for the grape harvest, this time with my whole family, G-d willing!
(Their website is:
www.HaYovel.com)
So there’s a little bit
about me, I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!
If you have any questions,
or just want to say HI feel free to drop me a line any time! I’d love to hear from YOU!
